Commercial Construction Bids Farewell to Summer Intern

Noah Brady making his final presentation

Noah Brady made a final presentation to the Commercial Construction team during the last week of his internship. The rising senior at Calvert Hall College High School came to us via the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE).

During his internship, Noah learned how to use the construction management software Procore to fill out duty logs to keep track of details like labor, communication, equipment, materials, and job site events. He also used Procore to make distribution groups, a type of email list, for job sites.

Noah said that one of his biggest lessons was that it is important to adapt to change. He enjoyed the culture and atmosphere of Commercial because it values employees and made him feel welcomed.

Project executive Jammie Whitfield presented Noah with a certificate of recognition. President of Commercial Construction Marty Glaze and director of safety and community engagement Gary Matthews shared kind words about Noah and his work ethic.

Good luck, Noah! We’ll miss you!
