Commercial Interiors recognizes Keith Clay with President’s Award

Commercial Interiors recently invited employees from across the DMV to our annual President’s Award luncheon, featuring a candid speech of gratitude from our President, Milton Matthews.

“The stuff that we did last year was just amazing—how you guys have served the company, how you guys have turned these jobs out, and how you guys have grown. We’ve got good people. My customers tell me how well of a job you are doing. When I have a customer asking for you to come be a part of a job, you know you have arrived.”

At Commercial, we know that a great team can achieve more than any one individual, but within those teams, true leaders emerge. The President’s Award recognizes the past year’s team leader who most embodied Commercial Interiors’ steadfast commitment to excellence over the past year.

“With great appreciation and deep gratitude for his outstanding dedication, leadership, and craftsmanship, I want to recognize longtime foreman Keith Clay as the recipient of the 2025 Commercial Interiors President’s Award.”

Turning his attention back to the team, Milton shared a final bit of wisdom.

“In all sincerity, take advantage of these senior people. They can teach you, but you’ve got to be willing to listen and to work hard.”

In closing, Milton addressed the whole team about the upward momentum Commercial Interiors is carrying into 2026: “We’ve got a lot of work we’ve put in place, and we’ve got more to do. So, just keep growing.”
