Metropolitan Park is a new construction of Amazon’s second headquarters, HQ2, in Arlington, VA. The project consists of two 22-story office towers, totaling 2.1 million SF of office space. The buildings were designed to accommodate over 14,000 employees and feature 65,000 SF of street-level retail space, housing 14 local businesses.

The headquarters includes amenities such as a retail store, cafeteria, fitness center, conference rooms, and green rooftops. The site also features a public park, a children’s playground, and more than a half-mile of protected bike lanes. Sustainability was a key focus, with the project incorporating electric vehicle charging stations, greywater recycling, and heat exchange systems.

Our scope of work included metal stud framing, drywall, insulation, plaster, specialty ceilings, fabric wall panels, doors & hardware, firestop, rough carpentry, toilet partitions, and toilet accessories. The contract was worth $33,000,000.
