The Chesapeake Upper Floors Renovation

This project was the gut rehabilitation of apartment units above a restaurant in Baltimore City’s Station North neighborhood. Within the scope of work was the complete restoration of an existing second-level ballroom and construction of 6 apartments on the 3rd and 4th floors. Commercial Construction restored many historical features in the building and cleaned and repaired the interior brick walls and arches. The full scope of construction included demolition, framing, drywall, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, finish carpentry, and paint. Commercial Construction also installed a 3,500-pound capacity, 4-stop elevator and shaft.
