This project transformed a vacant historic fire station into a technological training center for the Living Classrooms Foundation. The scope of work involved gut renovation, historic restoration, and design-build. Commercial Construction’s in-house architect value-engineered the proposed building plans to save the project approximately $250,000, enhance efficiency, and better serve the owner’s needs. The scope of construction includes historic facade restoration, all internal framing, drywall, carpeting, data and A/V cabling, HVAC, carpentry, MEP/S systems, and elevator installation.
